Tori Amos is releasing a new record called Night of the Hunters. She has a new wig and her eyebrows pulled up higher than ever. Let’s remember how things used to be with these 3928 of my favourite songs. I think I’ve had a crisis to every one or some lonely drive in the dark away from someone who I would never be with or some lake in the middle of the night or lying beside some girl wondering or an enormous and fantastic heartbreak. But maybe Jen and I will go to London anyway to see the show and have pints at the inn on Victoria Park in the middle of the day and see our old flat on Old Ford Road and probably break down somewhere by Mile End, where the sushi tastes like nothing and you just want to kill yourself and feel better with cocktails at Cru, which you drink until you don’t care that they cost $24 each, like we used to a long time ago.
